Printing Tubes
StitchAttach™ Technology is a new and smart production solutions to lay out and fixate tubes on fabrics and other materials. The technology open up new solutions for conveying air, gasses or liquids to be used in a range of applications.
Examples of applications: Distributing medical drugs with tubes integrated in bandages or clothes; various applications for ventilation and cooling; for micro pneumatics or micro hydraulics; etc. Various rods etc. of metal, plastics and other materials can also be attached using this technology.
With special machine set-up, tubes may be attached in combination with laying out fibers to produce fiber reinforced plastics & composites with integrated tubes. (See Laying Fibers).
Max diameter tube that can be stitched will depend on the material variables on the tube as well as the base carrier material. Various shapes other than round tubing etc. can be stitched onto any stitch-able base material.
Smaller tubes can be laid out in a recessed fashion into various compressible materials like foam.
